Congratulations on qualifying for the Pacific District Select tryout! This is the first step in pursuing opportunities with USA Hockey at the national level and raising your level of play to compete with the best in the region, nation and world. Each summer USA Hockey conducts National select and development camps for its top female players. The Pacific District Select Camp serves as your local tryout for the USA Hockey’s national selection process and player development program.
The Pacific District has a commitment to increasing the competitive levels of female players within the District. One way which that is accomplished is by offering a development camp as part of the tryout. The tryout consists of on-ice and off-ice sessions targeted at the best players in the District. The off-ice seminars cover speed, agility and quickness training, strength training, nutrition, and accessing opportunities in NCAA college hockey and the USA Hockey National program.
USA Hockey’s Pacific District Player Development is instrumental in helping to increase the competitive levels of players within the District. One way which that is accomplished is by offering an annual player development camp for players to attend with other high level players. |

The camp accepts female US citizens born between 1992 and 1995. All players must be selected through their state affiliates to attend the Pacific District tryout. Each affiliate has established a tryout process and will independently or combined hold their tryout and/or evaluation. Contact your local representative for more information (link to contacts and affiliate tryout dates). Tryout divisions and numbers are listed below. Once these allocations are full, additional players will be wait-listed.
We will be taking 12 defense, 18 forwards and 4 goalies in each of the following divisions:
- Select 14 (1995 birth years)
- Select 15 (1994 birth years)
- Select 16 (1993 birth years)
- Select 17 (1992 birth years)
For several years our Pacific District Select Camp has been open to all participants. We have enjoyed seeing so many enthusiastic athletes in attendance over the years; however, with the number of participants increasing it has caused the administration to reevaluate our tryout process. Each Affiliate will independently or combined hold their tryout and/or evaluation process. Please see your Affiliate’s website for further information and forms to complete. |

To register for the Pacific District Select Camp, complete the Online Camp Registration Form and submit it. Then send payment or proof of payment and Consent to Treat and Code of Conduct forms to the person designated for your area.
